Baracoa llamada también la Ciudad Primada, se encuentra situada en la provincia de Guantánamo (Cuba).

Declarada Monumento Nacional, la ciudad es bañada por el río Miel y entre sus atracciones naturales se encuentra el río Toa, marcado por numerosas cascadas, siendo la más conocida El Saltadero con 17 metros de altura. Para los vacacionistas la ciudad encierra además una gastronomía muy peculiar a base de plantas, con platos como el Bacán,el ajiaco o el pescado cocido con leche de coco. Considerada por muchos una de las ciudades más atractivas del país, Baracoa aguarda pacientemente por la llegada de aquellos para los cuales la historia y las tradiciones constituyen el plato fuerte en el descanso.

El Castillo hotel (The Castle) is the result of the adaptation of an old colonial fort (Sanguily Fort), built in 18th Century with a privileged location at the top of a hill. This location allows its several splendid views of the mountains that circle the City, views of the City itself and to the one of the three bays that surround it.
